| On behalf of the WWF team, thank you, for supporting Earth Hour, and for casting your vote for the planet. At the stroke of 8.30pm, 28th March 2009, the skies of Singapore darkened and people began to cheer to the start of the inaugural Earth Hour in Singapore. Sitting on their picnic rugs, the crowd lit the Esplanade Park with candle lights and at the same time, illuminated their spark and passion in climate change awareness. By switching off all your lights you joined millions of people in 3943 cities across 88 countries and 25 time zones and sent a powerful message that you care for the planet. |

| After the lights switched back on... what is next? |
| Amy Ho, Managing Director of WWF Singapore says, “The action of switching off the lights was our vote – an indication of the public’s concern about climate change and something world leaders should remember when they are in Copenhagen later this year for the Global Climate Change Conference.” |
